WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Quality Assurance Department,theCalibration Technician will manage the calibration system. The technician will receive and distribute calibrated equipment to the different departments within Epic. Tools needing calibration will be processed using an electronic tracking system. The tools may be calibrated by the technician or sent to an authorized calibration service. Other expectations may include:
- Receive and process calibration equipment
- Ship and receive calibrated equipment from approved calibration services
- Calibrate small hand tools that have appropriate standards
- Order and calibrate replacement tools for different departments
- Research and disposition the results of failed equipment
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- 1+ years of experience with the calibration of equipment
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills to maintain the calibration records
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work with multiple departments and management
- Able to move throughoutthe facility to deliver equipment
- Strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow directions and specifications
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements
- Able to work well independently or in a team
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
