Job description
Duties wil include:
- accurately prepping and passing medication to residents if needed on your shift as well as accurately charting medication passes
- check and change resident's at least three times per shift.
- properly give any care requirements to the residents such as: rotating a resident in bed, changing a patch, etc.
- residents will sometimes require redirection when displaying anxious behavior
- follow the care plan outlined by each residen't physician
- effectively communiate with other staff members/supervisor/nurses any change in condition noticed in each resident and give a full and thourough report to the next shift's lead
- respond to resident's calls in a timely manner
- hourly checks on all residents in the building
- minimal housekeeping duties: laundry, washing resident's water cups, tidying up the common areas, etc.
- must be able to assist residents with their showers in the mornings at the end of each shift
- every other weekend is required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
