Oakwood Village Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for congenial, professional, hard-working, and reliable individuals to fill our available full time Caregiver positions!

AM, PM, NOC shifts may be available.

Am- 6am-2:30pm

PM- 2-10:30pm

PAY IS DOE!!

Must be able to pass a DOJ Clearance, Health Screening, and Drug Screen

CAREGIVER'S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer call lights in a timely manner;
• Assist with meals by bringing residents into the dining room;
• Verbally cue residents requiring assistance;
• Chart any unusual incident or information needed to be passed on;
• Knowledge of proper transfer technique and body mechanics to transfer residents with appropriate assistance;
• Be responsible for the hygiene and grooming of our residents;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:

• Well groomed, cheerful and enthusiastic;
• Age 18 or older;
• Enjoys working with the elderly;
• Able to perform frequent lifting or less than or equal to 50 lbs;
• Must deal with the public, visitors and residents and in a tactful manner;

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate or equivalent GED;
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience is a plus.

Pay: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour
