General Summary: *
Caregivers are responsible for providing quality care, services and comfort to Members. Compassionately engage with Members and their families as well work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors. The ideal candidate will generously offer to help others versus wait to be asked. Willing to work a variety of shifts/hours based on department need.
Essential Job Duties:

• Actively engage in Member daily living care such as: grooming/bathing/meals, etc. and complete corresponding documentation.
• Observe the condition of a Member and report significant changes to appropriate person(s).
• Document daily care activities and patient status in accordance with department processes, policies and standards of care.
• Proactively initiate engagement activities with Members to support their wellness and a positive daily living experience.
• Attend in-service and mandatory trainings intended to keep skills current and follow new or changing regulations/policies.
• Understand and promote Resident Rights.
• Successfully pass: Criminal Background Clearance (DOJ), physical, TB test

Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Skills: Read, write and be able to communicate effectively in English through appropriate lines of authority and in an emergency situation.
Knowledge: Quality patient care practices, understands emergency procedures and safety protocols.
Abilities: Follows established protocols, policies and procedures, informs appropriate persons and documents events. Can-do positive attitude.
Must be available to work AM and PM shifts (7am- PM Shifts (3pm-11:30pm)

Certificates/Licenses: * Must have First Aid certificate.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
