Flying Squad On-Call Caregivers at Emerald Crest

As a Flying Squad On-Call Caregiver, you will pick up open shifts at all four site locations where the greatest need is among all 3 shifts (7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; 11pm-7am). At the site, the Caregiver will provide cares, assist with ADLs, provide medication administration, provide behavior management, prepare and serve meals, light housekeeping & laundry and assist with activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for assisting residents with their care needs and all other aspects of daily life at Emerald Crest leaving a lasting positive impact in the lives of all we serve. Candidates must be able to pick up at least one shift per week including one weekend shift and holidays as needed. Caregiver (CNAs/ HHAs/ PCAs) qualifications:

• Reliable Transportation
• Preference to candidates with 2 or more years of caregiving experience in AL or LTC
• Preference to candidates with memory care experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to speak, read, comprehend English
• Passion for engaging older adults with memory loss
• Demonstrated alignment with Cassia’s mission and values
