Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring to and from bed
-Prepping meals- while encouraging proper diet and adequate liquid intake
- Transporting to and from appointments or run errands
- Allowing as much as independence as possible
-Maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environment for the client - performing light housekeeping duties
- Assisting (reminding) the clients with medications as defined in medication procedure
- Keeping records of the daily activities and communicate the same one's with the agency staff
- Provide any financial aid if needed such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank or helping the client to pay their bills
- Providing companionship and conversation by stimulating encouraging and assisting the clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to complete Criminal Background check report
- Recent TB test
- Valid ID, Valid SSN and/or Work Permit
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for a long period of time if needed
- Abiliti to lift up to 25 pounds
- At least one year of experience
