Job Summary:
Case Aide supports the case planning team in efforts to ensure excellent quality care. The Case Aide also support the case planning team to ensure that every one of our children is living in a nurturing, safe, and permanent family as quickly as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage reception area, phone messages, handles correspondence and orders supplies as needed
- Performs other essential day-to-day activities, which include but are not limited to maintaining sign in/ out sheet, establish and maintain an administrative filing system within the office, create and maintain case records and create intake packets as needed.
- Gathers and enters data in the New York State Office of Children and Family Services' CONNECTIONS electronic case record system (that data spans -progress notes, sibling visit & diligent search packages)
- Manages mail and correspondence.
- Assists with processing applications for state identification, birth certificates, and social security cards for children and youth in foster care.
- Visits foster families, youth, and caregiver homes as needed.
- Supervises family visits as needed.
- Drives staff and clients (Foster children, parents, and foster parents). Travels in and out of state when needed. Supports all functions that are compliance with all regulatory agencies, including NYC Children's Services (NYCCS), the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and the Local District of Social Services (LDSS).
- Provides/oversees proper record keeping and documentation for all activities.
- Manages and organizes case records for the unit- this includes creating new case records and closing old case records
- Fully covid 19 vaccinated
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required with 1 year of experience working directly with families and children
- Valid NYS driver’s license & clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to drive a car or van throughout the Mid-Hudson and Lower Hudson Valley regions, NYC, Long Island and outside of NY State

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
