Job description

Forest Health Services is looking for a full-time Cash Manager/Financial Analyst, who will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Being the primary communicator with bankers
  • Daily reporting of bank transactions
  • Assuring compliance with company internal control policies
  • Management of bank account signature cards, lockbox and/or depository bank accounts and ACH payments
  • Issuance and monitoring of charges and expenses from company credit cards
  • Preparation and analysis of budgets
  • Maintenance of the hospital charge master
  • Analysis of month-end and year-end financial statements
  • Preparing an annual volume forecast and disclosure statements as required by risk management consultant and insurance policies for all companies
  • Monitoring payments to insurers
  • Auditing and making recommendations to protect company fixed assets with appropriate insurance policies

Qualification Requirements:

  • Excellent ability to analyze data and draw rational conclusions to improve business operations
  • Ability to provide insight from the analysis of operational data and financial statements
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting theory as applied to the organization
  • Excellent ability to learn and understand IRS and state tax regulations
  • Ability to maintain good relationships and communicate effectively with bankers, insurance payers, and regulators
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand the operational details of the hospital provider business

Skill Requirements:

  • Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and preparation of financial models, data analysis and analytical reports and Action Request Reports
  • Computer Skills: Excellent ability to prepare financial models and utilize external software such as bank cash management applications
  • Analytical Ability: Individual must have the ability to learn quickly, ask appropriate questions, focus on details, apply the scientific problem solving methodology for problem solving, and reach conclusions based upon facts and innovative analysis

  • Detail oriented, hands-on worker with high personal quality standards- Ability to maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements
  • Ability to function under pressure and complete projects quickly

  • Willingness to be flexible in work hours to meet time-constrained deadlines

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and three years applicable experience or MBA with a major in Finance, applicable experience not required.
