Looking for immediate hire.

Position: Part time/ Full time Cashier

Position Description:

• Processing sales and returns using the POS system. Receive payments by cash, credit cards, traveler’s checks, and store gift cards

• Responsible for greeting customers and responding to any inquiries, providing support throughout their shopping experience

• Be able to accurately scan products and assure that items are correctly priced

• Be able to count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct

• Be able to give adequate change by counting back their change to the customer.
• Preparing shipping boxes for customers that are shipping products

• Be able to close register and balancing daily sales according to closing procedures.
• Restock products and keeping front of the store neat and clean.

• Help with daily and yearly inventory

• Must have an outgoing personality, honest, and be a team player with a positive attitude Be able to multi-task

• Commitment to excellence and attention to detail

• Working with various cultures/backgrounds

• Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions

• Be able to multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change

Job requirements:

• Physical ability to move large, bulky and or heavy merchandise.

• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, siting and other activities necessary to perform job duties.Minimum Qualifications:

• High school or GED

• Computer skills

• 2-3 years of cash handling experience

• Previous a POS system experience

• Previous customer service experience

Compensation:

• Negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
