JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Cashier/Clerk (Cenex)

DEPARTMENT: Resort

SUPERVISOR: C-Store Supervisor

LOCATION: Resort

EMPLOYMENT: Part Time

PAYRATE: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)

LICENSE STATUS: Key-Employee

DESCRIPTION:

The Cashier will perform a variety of cashiering functions within the assigned Cashier

area. Will respond positively to questions and inquiries from the public.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent Guest Service to guests, internal and external through active

guest engagement and positive attitude.

• Operating the cash register and running credit cards transactions

• Responsible for accurate handling of monies including ensuring accuracy of

money in, money out of cash bank.

• Verify age of customer if purchasing alcohol or cigarettes

• Sweep and mop floors

• Clean gas station bathrooms

• Stock products to shelves and coolers, check expiration dates, ensure only

fresh/intact products are sold

• Will be required to work in any area assigned.

• Due to changes and modifications in job from time to time, employees are

required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Strong mathematical aptitude is required.

• Subject to inside environmental conditions, including work in a smoking

environment.

• Sedentary work with standing required.

• Occasional lifting up to 5 pounds.

• Must be able to work all shifts as assigned, including weekends and holidays.

• Must pass background checks and other pre-employment screenings necessary to

receive and maintain a Gaming License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous money handling experience is preferable.

• Casino related experience is desired.
