Job description
Full time or part time seasonal TIPPED position
Base pay $10 per hour plus tips
Qualifications
- Strong communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to work mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, add them to the waiting list as necessary, or show them to their seats
- Manage seating chart and reservations
- Answer the phone and check voicemails
- Ring up and cash out porch orders and to go orders on a point of sale system
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Knowledge of menu to answer guest questions
- Help servers or food runners when needed
- Help clear and set up tables
- Respond to complaints and help resolve them
- Help fold napkins, polish silverware and glassware
- Assist dishwasher when needed
