The Westford Country Store and Cafe is under new ownership. We are hiring Cashiers/Customer Service. Looking for someone with an out-going personality who likes to interact, listen and talk to guests. The right individual will also take initiative when it comes to cleaning to ensure our guests have a welcoming place to shop. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

We have Full and Part Time Positions available as well as morning and evening shifts. Weekend availability is important. We are open 7 days per week.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Process Sales Transactions
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Accept payments
• Calculate & count back change to our guests when required by payment method
• Make sure coffee is always available and hot
• Be a team player to meet store sales goals
• Handle customer complaints
• Maintain clean and tidy store, including restrooms
• Create a friendly and welcoming environment both visually and communicatively
• Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
• Stock and rotate merchandise
• Answer questions about products and services
• Report any issues with equipment immediately
• Assist in other areas as needed or requested
• Most work is performed indoors, but some occasional outdoor work, such as snow shoveling, may be required

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Must possess 2nd Class Seller Certificate from VT Dept of Liquor & Lottery
• Basic Math Skills

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
