Job description
CAST’s Education and Outreach Department seeks 4 VISTA members to assist with CAST’s summer programming, educational workshops and events. The Summer Rise Program is a full day arts and academic program offered to 30+ low income elementary students experiencing a delay in academic growth or emotional challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with groups of 12 elementary age students throughout the program day (9am-3pm), Monday through Friday from July 3rd-August 18th. This fun, positive and educational program provides opportunities for students to engage in daily art, music, STEAM, ELA ESoL, and physical and mental health enrichment activities. Additionally, VISTA members will assist with the preparation, execution and breakdown of educational workshops and events throughout their term.
