Hours/Shift: Part-Time/Mornings from 8:00am - 1:30pm
Job Summary: The position provides front-line customer service for our patients, clerical support for the Cath Lab department, and is responsible for scheduling invasive procedures and obtaining authorization for procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Cath Lab Schedulers are an integral and valuable member of our healthcare team! As a Scheduler, you will facilitate important administrative and clerical duties required to coordinate patient care and keep the department running smoothly!

Job Summary: The position provides front-line customer service for our patients, clerical support for the Cath Lab department, and is responsible for scheduling invasive procedures and obtaining authorization for procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides general clerical support by answering phones, scheduling patient procedures, making appointments and procedure follow-up appointments, maintaining files, and processing and relaying patient orders.
- Interacts patients, healthcare team, and other professionals to schedule patient procedures; serves as the liaison between healthcare team members in the scheduling of patient appointments.
- Utilizes software and other department-specific applications to ensure data entry and/or updating of procedures scheduled is completed with accuracy and expediency.
- Creates a positive experience for the patient as well as internal customers.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and apply theory to practice skills.
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, RIS/PACS, Soarian, NextGen, and Siemen
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
