One of our clients is looking for talented and highly motivated Catheter Mechanical Design Engineer.

Job Title: Catheter Mechanical Design Engineer
Pay Rate: $50 to 65/hr.
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Issaquah, WA or Remote

This position is for the Ultrasound division.

This position requires Contingent Workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

We are looking for a Catheter Mechanical Design Engineer.

We are the market leader for the 2D and 3D ICE catheters in EP and Interventional Cardiology space. We are seeking an individual to join an engineering design team responsible for developing ICE Catheters and will work in a dynamic environment as part of an R&D team developing ultrasound catheters, associated assemblies, and tooling.

• Leading engineering efforts and taking responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting projects related to electro-mechanical devices, components, tools, and processes.
• Creates mechanical models in CREO, tolerance analyses of designs, drawing design specifications, and conducts independent technical reviews using standards for mechanical engineering principles.
• Design mechanical test fixtures, create tooling for manufacturing, and effectively transfer tooling and processes to manufacturing personnel
• Prepare drawing design specifications, analyses, and recommendations for presentation and team review.
• Interact with suppliers to ensure procurement of components needed for your projects
• Create solid models and drawings and prepare material for ECO release

Requirements:

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline or equivalent directly related work experience
• 5+ years of experience with CAD Design including 3D modeling, and drawings (CREO required and Windchill preferred)
• 3+ years of mechanical fixture design experience
• Applied knowledge of prototyping and designing tools and fixtures for small components.
• Successfully managed simultaneous project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience in the medical device industry developing Class III Ultrasound catheters preferred.

Salary: Up to $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
