River Valley Counseling Center is Hiring a Case Manager!


As one of the largest providers of mental health therapy in our region, River Valley Counseling Center offers a full-spectrum of mental health care.This position will work in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). The CCBHC is a specially-designated clinic that provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use services. We are looking for a case manager to join our team!

The CCBHC grant is a two year SAMHSA award. The goal of RVCC’s CCBHC award is to establish a model of care to address the unmet behavioral and physical health needs of unserved and underserved adults and families with a focus on serving vulnerable populations. This is a two year grant, employees under the grant may be given priority for new roles at RVCC after funding ends.

The Qualifications:

  • You have a Community Health Worker Certification.

  • You have an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred: a concentration in human services field)

  • You have a current MA Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle

  • You are bilingual (Spanish/English).

  • Preferred: you have at least one year of experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders.

The Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client records, maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Provide referral services, assist in filling out applications, providing education, provide or arrange for client transportation to relevant appointments and other client assistance activities.

  • Communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

  • Provide or ensure that English/Spanish written and/or verbal interpretation for Spanish-speaking clients when necessary. Arrange interpretation for other languages as needed.

  • Collaborate with a team.

  • Other duties as assigned.
