The American Paper & Twine Team is looking for an experienced CDL A or B LOCAL DELIVERY ROUTE TRUCK DRIVER based out of Fayetteville, AR. This position has unique autonomy by being the go to driver for the territory of North West Arkansas. This position will remotely report to our Little Rock, AR operation for management.

This position requires commerical Delivery Driver experience. Any commercial license considered, but CDL A preferred. Clean background & MVR a must. The position is Monday-Friday only from 7:30AM-4PM. No nights or weekends.

**$500 Sign-on Bonus** for the right candidate (Payable after the successful completion of 120 days).

The responsibilities of the CDL Delivery Driver include:

• Safely deliver janitorial, packaging, food service disposables and office products to customers on a 26' or 53' truck or smaller via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Interact with customers to obtain payment, signatures, and returned goods by verifying piece count and giving receipts in courteous and professional manner.
• Keep driving records (i.e. mileage, pre & post trip inspection and daily driver log).
• Perform vehicle inspection and maintenance morning and afternoon (i.e. vehicle inspections, filling tires with air, lights in working order, adding fluids, etc.).
• Obtain special delivery instructions or other information requested by customer and communicate them to Driver Supervisor and routing personnel.
• Ensure all returned goods and paperwork, i.e., packing lists and return goods authorization are returned to Shipping Supervisor.
• Ability to interact with customers via phone or in person in a professional manner.

The qualifications of the CDL Delivery Driver include:

• Clear MVR
• Lift gate experience
• 1 year of active and recent CDL experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Able to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license
• Must have a valid and up to date DOT Medical Card
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to handle physical workload
