Our drivers earn anywhere from $23.00 to $26.00 an hour, depending on familiarity with equipment, with the opportunity to earn an additional $3,000 in bonuses within the first year! We are hiring immediately.

As we expand this growing division, PSC is partnered with the Plastics Industry Association's Operation Clean Sweep® program. We are now providing sustainability and recycling programs to help plastic resin manufacturers protect the environment by reducing and eliminating pellet, flake and powder loss.

Work Schedule: 8-12 Hour Shifts, mainly Monday – Friday with possible on-call and weekends as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a Valid Class A or B CDL Driver's License and with the ability to secure a TWIC Card
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen
• 2 or more years' driving experience with an incident free driving record
• 21 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Delivers short haul freight by dry vans, grain trailers and roll off to customer and internal locations in TX and LA
• Works as part of a crew to operate state of the art air mover and other heavy equipment
• Plans the most efficient routes to deliver freight on time, reports any delays
• Performs truck / trailer inspections to ensure good running order and reports deficiencies immediately
• Completes company work orders and ensures all necessary paperwork is received (BOL, weight tickets)
• Secures the freight before departure and monitors safe securement throughout the trip
• Safely drives vehicle on customer property, public roads by obeying all traffic and safety laws, or privately held properties
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Additional Job Qualifications:

• PSC offers extensive training on all equipment, however previous experience with air movers or roll-offs are welcomed.
• PSC is a veteran friendly. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers.
• Pass a background check.

Physical Requirements: You must be able to:

• Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
• Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
• Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
• Carry 20 pounds while walking
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Stand 8-12 hours per day
• Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
