Certified Anesthesia Assistant
Job description
This position provides anesthetics for ECU Health (formerly named Vidant Medical Center), a 900+ bed academic/tertiary care, Level 1 Trauma Center. Anesthetics are managed with extreme autonomy, while practicing in an ACT setting. We offer high patient acuity allowing the new AA and/or experienced AA to fully implement their clinical skills and education, and continue to expand within any area of expertise that may be desired. All surgical specialties are presented and all surgical procedures are performed excluding some transplants and extreme burn cases. AAs are also welcome to choose W2 or 1099 employment status, however our W2 employees will receive a lucrative benefits package (listed below).
For a limited time only, our practice is offering up to $70,000 in student tuition assistance and stipend payment program with a 3-year commitment or, $45,000 in tuition assistance for a 2-year commitment. There are only a few of these stipend packages available.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's Degree in Anesthesia Assisting - Required
- PALS Certified
- ACLS Certified
