Job description
As a Certified Dietary Manager, you are responsible to oversee the preparation of food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations Determine the personnel requirements for the dietary department to make recommendations for sufficient staff to implement dietary and service policies and procedures. Within our established policies and procedures you will assure quality food service is provided at all times. Supervise preparation of menus to meet residents’ dietary needs. You will direct, evaluate and monitor the staff assigned to your department, including issuing disciplinary actions as necessary and performing probationary and annual evaluations of employee performance. Complete MDS as required.
