Job Summary:
JAG-ONE Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (OT/CHT) to join their hand therapy team. The location of the position will be determined by the candidate's professional network/physician referral base. The candidate will be a CHT with expert clinical and interpersonal skills, proficient in custom orthosis fabrication and who enjoys working independently and autonomously. This is a Part-time position.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience treating a variety of non operative and post operative elbow, wrist, hand, and finger diagnoses including but not limited to: fractures, dislocations, instabilities, soft tissue repairs/reconstructions (nerve repairs, nerve transfers, tendon repairs, tendon transfers, ligament repairs), amputation and replants, peripheral nerve compressions, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis.
• Strong custom orthosis fabrication skills to meet specification of physician orders for orthoses of the elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers.
• Selection of appropriate assessment methods to formulate and implement treatment plan
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, physicians, therapists and support staff.

Requirements:

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited University
• Valid NJ state OT license
