Certified Medical Assistant F/T (Spanish/English) Bilingual
F/T Certified Medical Assistant for busy Cardiology practice. Must be able to work in a fast paced practice with high patient volume. Medical Assistant Certification required. Must have knowledge of medical terminology and insurance carriers. Candidate must have strong phone, computer and quality patient care skills.

Light local travel required: (1) Weekday & (2) Saturday morning a month

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance carriers
• HIPAA regulations
• Phlebotomy
• EKG
• Strong phone, computer and patient care skills
• Team Player

Repsponsibilities include but not limited to:

• Vitals
• Prep patients for diagnostic testing and Doctor
• Enter patient history summary into EHR
• Scan patients documents and test results into EHR
• Draw blood and perform EKG and tests on patients
• Clean and maintain supplies in patient rooms
• Front desk receptionist responsibilities (checking in patient, making appointments, entering new patient information, collecting copayments and arranging transportation)
