Job Summary:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are members of the healthcare team who assist patients with self-care activities under the supervision of licensed personnel. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors. Performs additional services necessary for the patient's personal needs and comfort of the patient.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a nursing assistant course approved through the District of Columbia Regulatory Affairs.
Licenses/Certification: CNA certification required. CPR/BLS required. CNA license in the District of Columbia required.
Experience: 6 months experience CNA in a Hospital. Medsurg/Telemetry experience preferred.
