At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.

Responsibilities

· The peer staff will lead planning meetings with peers to develop schedules and plan activities for the MAT program.

· Work scheduling and planning and attending community meetings. Responsibilities will include problem-solving to eliminate obstacles to recovery, e.g., linkage to resources for child-care, transportation, coordination with service providers; assistance with developing

· Healthy outlets and becoming self-sufficient.

· Assist with housing/budgeting needs as well as seeking employment and/or educational needs.

· Assist with Job development activities such as resume development, job search assistance, and interview role playing. Under the directions of the CPS-AD

· Provide Individual or Group Peer check-ins, help facilitate social support activities, and family support services.

· Assisting with data entry and compliance

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED

· Certified Peer Specialist or person with two years abstinence in recovery and eligible for becoming a CARES within a year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
