Animal Eye Care of New England in South Deerfield, MA is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our modern and well-established ophthalmology referral practice.

The ophthalmology technicians are working as the doctor’s right-hand while relaying information to our clients and staff. They are responsible for organizing the daily activities of the doctor during appointments and while in surgery. They are also client advocates, ensuring the client needs and concerns are addressed on all levels.

Responsibilities include assisting with appointments and surgery, client communications, computer/data entry, and routine technical skills: humane pet restraint, iv catheter placement and venipuncture, medication administration, patient monitoring, filling prescriptions, lab work. Understanding and experience with all aspects of anesthesia is required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour based on qualifications
