Deaconess Health System in Evansville, IN has a formal management agreement with Perry County Memorial Hospital Board of Directors to ensure the continued success of a long standing Critical Access Hospital in Southern Indiana.

Deaconess Health System is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer for Perry County Memorial Hospital. The CFO will be an employee of Deaconess Hospital.

Job Summary includes:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overall management of fiscal operations. The CFO will keep the staff aware off all regulations and standards to assure compliance with orders and directives issued by duly constituted governmental/regulatory agencies or third party payers. The CFO will be a collaborative leader who excels at communication and will also be focused on financial impacts. Will ensure adequate cash forecasting and liquidity so that operating and capital expenditures needs can be met. The CFO will educate and work directly with Department Leaders for Departmental budgets. The CFO will keep the CEO and Deaconess Health System informed on all aspects of the financial operations.

Successful CFO candidates will possess the following:

• Prior hospital CFO experience or progressive senior leadership experience as a CAO or Financial Director
• Knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals/Rural Healthcare delivery
• Five years’ overall hospital/healthcare finance experience
• Results driven leader demonstrating a history of success in healthcare management
• Bachelor’s degree with Master’s level degree desired, MBA or CPA preferred
• Selected candidate must be successfully bonded
