Job Description Summary
As a member of the Transamerica Advice Center (TAC), connect by phone or in person with prospective clients for education-first sales conversations to deliver best interest recommendations. This role will also document and analyze conversations, scripts, marketing needs, processes, procedures, and best practices to determine the validity of new lead sources.
Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Serve in a Retirement Planning Specialist capacity to provide clients with product education and guidance.
  • Analyze information provided by prospective clients to pilot, document, and validate lead sources.
  • Perform pre-call and post-call documentation to uncover trends and better understand client data.
  • Prepare and present findings to TAC leadership to help determine which lead sources are viable for roll-out to Retirement Planning Specialists.
  • Consult with advisors and the Business Development team to address and uncover ways to enhance and refine the engagement process on new lead sources.
  • Develop scripts and marketing materials pertinent to the lead channel being evaluated.
  • Organize regular team meetings to refine documentation practices, conversation strategies, and other topics to enhance results.
  • Participate in corporate action events as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
  • One year of experience in the financial services industry
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7
  • FINRA Series 63/65 or 66
  • Knowledge of financial products (related to assigned specialty area)
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Writing skills for documentation and scripting
  • Organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency using MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience presenting in front of large groups
  • Background in retirement planning
Compensation
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **
Total Compensation for this role is estimated to be $95,000 - $110,000 per year.
The base pay for this position generally starts at $59,000. This rate is based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The rate may vary above and below the stated amount, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Commissions:
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies. Average first year commission opportunity ranges from $35,000 to $50,000 and is uncapped based on performance. Commissions are paid monthly.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 5%.
