Charge Capture Specialist - Urgent Care
Job description
CRH Healthcare, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is a patient-focused operator of urgent care centers in Alabama, Georgia, Maryland and Florida. CRH’s centers are open seven days a week and provide walk-in care for injury, illness and minor emergencies as well as occupational medicine for employers such as drug screens and physicals.
CRH is currently seeking a Charge Capture Specialist for the Billing Department located in Fayetteville, GA. This position will report to the Billing Lead and will be responsible processing charges and billing claims for our clinics.
Responsibilities
- Review charges and add necessary modifiers, units, injury dates, referring providers to ensure clean claim submission
- Review claim rejections and make necessary corrections
- Resolve issues with patient insurances
- Communicate with front office and clinical staff regarding missing or incorrect information to ensure a clean claim submission
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years minimum medical billing experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
- Certified Coder a plus
