As a family owned business Mongiovi & Son has been a local industry leader in the Plumbing, Fire Protection and Excavating services for over 40 years.

With over 150 skilled tradesman throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia, Mongiovi & Son can handle any size project within any market sector.

The Chief Estimator of Excavating will be responsible for:

• Understanding the project/program and its requirements
• Determining key variables for cost and other estimates
• Gathering first-hand information from all job sites

The ideal candidate will have/be able to:

• Proven experience as an Estimator
• Blueprint and schematics knowledge
• Strong negotiating skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• The ability to determine key variables for labor costs, material, production time
• The ability to perform risk analysis
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs etc.)
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles
• In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
• Proficient in relevant software
• Thoroughness and reliability
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) will be an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
