Big Health is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer who will play an instrumental role in the future growth and positioning of the business. This position will be responsible for driving long-term growth strategy, operational scalability, and growing a world-class finance organization. As the CFO, you will represent the company as an industry thought leader and a proven leader responsible for overseeing all financial responsibilities for the organization while possessing a proven background in scaling businesses.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a strategic partner and financial advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, the Board, and members of the Executive Leadership Team on issues related to the overall performance of the company
• Continue to develop tools and systems to provide critical financial information to help accelerate growth and make actionable recommendations on financial goals and strategy
• Oversee and lead the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; and monitor progress and changes to keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status
• Champion financial and operational excellence, establishing metrics, processes, and controls for regular assessment and improvement
• Ensure the complete accuracy of company metrics as presented to the Board of Directors, investors, and senior leadership team
• Effectively share the company story and portray and differentiate the company and pitch the value proposition
• Communicate, engage, and drive value with Board of Directors and investors, both current and prospective
• Lead cross-company evaluations of strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities for growth; define and measure ROI for strategic investments
• Identify risks and opportunities through the lens of the financial community and make appropriate recommendations as to further the growth of the company
• Recruit, retain, and mentor a top finance organization that can successfully scale with the organization

What You Bring:

• Experience as CFO or as #2 finance executive of a high-growth, innovative tech-enabled company, preferably with a background or passion in healthcare, that has experienced rapid growth ($20-$100M+)
• Success serving as a key member of a senior leadership team in providing input to the CEO, Board, and management peers regarding the financial implications of all major business decisions, as well as strategic objectives
• A proven leader responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization while possessing a proven background in scaling high-growth businesses
• Excellent judgment and well-honed prioritization skills, including the ability to articulate frameworks and to think creatively about solutions
• Highly analytical and metrics-driven with a strong breadth of skills across Accounting, FP&A, M&A, Tax, Strategy and Negotiations
• Ability to autonomously run external facing projects including fundraising and M&A
• Strategically oriented with the communication and interpersonal skills needed to effectively share and engage the entire organization in the key financial drivers of the company
• Ability to quickly assess the current Finance team and make quick decisions around infrastructure, people, systems and processes while ensuring that the team is continuously moving in the forward direction
• Strategic, innovative thinker with proven execution, leadership, and communication skills
• Results-driven, self-starter who works with a sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills; analytical rigor, high intensity, and commitment to the business
• Passionate about Big Health’s mission to be the leader in behavioral health digital therapeutics
• Ability to drive breakthrough changes and continuous improvement on the business and customer experience; ability to build a new ship and plot a new course vs. captain a ship that’s already been built
