Kids Korner is hiring a part-time assistant teacher for the hours of 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, additional hours may be available to cover staffing needs. The start date for this position would be mid-November.

Examples of Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher with their responsibilities.
- Interact with the children during activities and respond to their needs in a kind, gentle manner.
- Communicate professionally and positively with parents regarding child's development and behavior.
- Be able to move and work efficiently between classrooms and with children of varying ages.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with other staff members.
- Complete staff training and attend staff meetings as required.
- Maintain room in an organized and clean fashion.
- Assist in cleaning the center, toys, learning materials, and supplies.
- Be dependable and flexible.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Be willing to take child care classes to become certified and complete them within 6 months of hire date.
- Work well with other adults and with children.
