The Riverbrook Regional YMCA in Wilton, Connecticut is looking for a Childcare Manager to oversee the planning, supervising, scheduling and implementation of or Child Watch and Kid's Club program offered to members at our YMCA.
Responsibilities:
The Childcare Manager is responsible for the planning, supervising and implementation of the Child Watch & Kids Club programs in accordance with the goals, polices, mission, and voice of the Riverbrook Regional YMCA. This includes supervising the Child Watch & Kids Club staff, guiding, and teaching them in appropriate ways to handle the children in their care, communicating effectively with parents and keeping a safe and comfortable environment.
Qualifications
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Must have substantial experience working with children ages of newborn – 12 years old.
· Must be trained annually in infant/child CPR and CT. First Aid.
· Excellent Communication Skills.
· Computer Skills for communicating with staff and supervisors.
· Must have several years’ experience supervising other staff.
· Must demonstrate a love for children and enjoy working with them.
· Must be physically and mentally fit to work with children.

Experience:
- Childcare: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- AED Certification (Preferred)
