Job description
We are seeking positions for a Chiropractic Receptionist/Assistant to help share our mission of true health and healing. Applicants should be open-minded, eager to learn, self-motivated, and have a desire to serve our community with a compassionate heart. This position is fundamental and is a key role in the success of our personal injury practice.
EXAMPLES OF DAILY TASKS:
- Greeting patients, while making them feel comfortable
- Using the computer, navigating the internet
- Patient Scheduling - Checking IN/OUT
- Answering phone calls, making calls
- Addressing the patient's questions and concerns
- Attending to Email Correspondence
- Patient File Management
- Billing Health and Auto Insurances
- Following up with Law Firms and Insurance Companies
- Assessing the waiting room, and ensuring the office runs on time
- Abiding by HIPAA laws regarding sharing of personal medical information
- Ensuring all referrals are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assisting patients with medical paperwork
- Keeping the office clean and presentable
- Assist office teammates with tasks when busy
- Other tasks to ensure that the office runs efficiently
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience with Personal Injury is a plus
- Health Insurance Experience is a plus
- Speaking Spanish is a plus
- MUST have up to date knowledge and comfort with computers and technology
- MUST be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- MUST be outgoing and willing to communicate with patients
- MUST be flexible with hours (mornings/evenings/weekends)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
