Basic Job opening and Overall Job Objective
To perform a variety of street maintenance and repair tasks in the areas of maintenance, construction and equipment operation for Boulder transportation corridors. The skill level required depends on whether the position is at the I, II, III, or IV level as explained below.
Maintenance Operator I: Performs entry level to semi-skilled tasks.
Maintenance Operator II: Performs semi-skilled to skilled tasks.
Maintenance Operator III and IV: Provides staff direction, daily coordination of activities, and performs skilled to semi-skilled tasks.
Hiring Ranges:
Maintenance Operator I Street Sweeper: $17.42 - $21.35 per hour
Maintenance Operator II Street Sweeper: $20.95 - $25.90 per hour
Maintenance Operator II Street Sweeper: $23.05 - $28.14 per hour
Maintenance Operator IV Street Sweeper: $27.90 - $34.06 per hour
