Civil Engineer, Roadways, Bridges, Highways

Salary: $85k - $110k. Salary commensurate with level of experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure design including permitting, grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems
• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
• Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and documents, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
• Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering Required; 7+ years of experience
• Background will ideally include project work and process knowledge of grading and drainage (using Civil3D), hydrology/hydraulics, and street
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D/Microstation InRoads, word processing, and spreadsheet management programs with working knowledge of applicable codes
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
