WGM Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its growing Civil Engineering team in the vibrant mountain and lake town of Kalispell, MT. WGM Group is a multi-disciplined civil engineering, planning and design firm. This role will be responsible for coordinating innovative, community-oriented, and sustainable civil engineering projects in the Northern Rockies.


Role & Responsibilities:

As an integral player in the Civil discipline, this role requires project management, project planning and design skills. This person will be responsible coordinating the full life cycle of a civil project including client contracts, proposals, and budgets concept through design build construction phase of a project.

The Civil Engineer will work with a small, interdisciplinary team. This role will be responsible for staff allocation, budgets, and project schedules.

The successful candidate will be experienced in creating engineering products to meet customer quality requirements for a client projects, uphold high standards of communication and customer service, and be familiar with working within municipal and state agencies.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Licensed PE, or ability to obtain PE within 6 months
  • Demonstrated track record of success in Civil Engineering design and build projects
  • Advanced design experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with client management
  • Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
  • Entrepreneurial and community-minded
  • MS in Civil Engineering


Compensation & Benefits Package:
