In this role, you will…

Confirm coverage and then manage claims and suits brought against policyholders/accounts.
Interpret, analyze, and resolve coverage issues.
Select and appoint legal counsel.
Manage the litigation with outside counsel and accounts.
Manage litigation costs, both fees and expenses.
Post reserves for both loss and ALE reserves.
Resolve cases, via settlement, dismissal or trial.
Negotiate case resolutions, attend mediations and monitor trials in-person.
Provide service to insureds, assist where possible in sales and retention efforts of sales force.
Conduct claim audits of self-insured accounts and TPAs.
Perform other activities required of a claims professional.

We are looking for candidates with…

Minimum of five years of claim and/or legal experience with commercial general liability and healthcare liability claims.
Bachelor's degree, but, will consider less, if the candidate possesses other, pertinent industry experience.
Other degrees, including J.D. and/or nursing are a plus.

General: MedPro Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The annual gross base salary range is $85,000 to $150,000. This range anticipates the low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies. Salary is one component of MedPro’s total compensation and benefits package, which includes medical, vision and dental insurance options, life and accident insurance, 401(k), and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
