The H.T. Hackney Co. is a Privately-owned, Wholesale Grocery Distributor that has served customers in our local area for over 125 years. We are looking for energetic, dedicated, and self-driven individuals to join our team in the Warehouse with many opportunities for growth and advancement.
We are now accepting applications on for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver at our Johnson City location conveniently located off I-26 Elizabethton exit 24 at 408 Lafe Cox Dr. Feel free to stop in anytime to pick up a paper application at our front Office and return it on a Tuesday.
Job Duties
- A Class A CDL Delivery Driver is a professional driving position that safely and accurately delivers grocery products and Tobacco products to convenience stores within our East Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina Territories. Our routes dispatch early in the morning and a driver at The H. T. Hackney Co. will drive a day cab tractor with a refrigerated pup trailer to make deliveries. The driver will unload all freight with a hand truck/dolly into the assigned convenience store and are responsible for ensuring orders are delivered accurately and consistently on-time. Being a people-person and proving fantastic customer service is an absolute necessity for this position.

Work Schedule-Monday-Friday, Weekends off-no deliveries on Saturday & Sunday
