What Success Looks Like*
In 3 months

• Successful understanding of Arcadia’s client base and invoicing process
• Successful understanding of each client’s bank transactions and balancing bank statements
• Creating bank transfers and processing of voided checks

In 6 months

• Successful understanding of each client’s expense streams and recording of day to day transactions
• Successful understanding of the Claim Payment Software System and processing the check runs
• Successful understanding of the 3rd Party Check Printing Vendor processes

• Being able to work independently
• Trouble shoot system issues.
• Subject matter expert.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generate check runs weekly
• Generate specialty (Capitation, Bonus, Withhold etc.) payment check runs
• Record All but FFS check runs in Peachtree Accounting system
• Issue manual checks from Eldorado System
• Enter & issue manual checks from Peachtree Accounting system
• Upload electronic positive pays
• Upload manual positive pays
• Research positive pay exceptions
• Reconcile client bank accounts -1st- 3rd day of each month
• Research & Report stale dated outstanding claims checks for void & reissue in the claims system
• Pull membership counts for reconciliation and billing purposes
• Research Check Trace Requests
• Process Voids/Stop Payments in bank accounts, pass voids on to be processed in claims system, and record voids in clients Peachtree account
• Record refunds and deposit checks for each client
• Prepare weekly bank ACH transfers for approval and transmission
• Inventory / Supply ordering
• Assist Finance Accountant during audits

What You'll Bring

• Prior experience with finance/funding responsibilities with health insurance medical claims payments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Peachtree Accounting
• Ability to work independently

• Bookkeeping knowledge – recording of debits, credits in the balance sheet, revenue, and expense accounts.
