Job Description – Client Service Representative

Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc, a well-established Financial Services Company in Jersey City is seeking a Client Service Associate / Trainee to assist in our local branch office.

We are looking for a detail-oriented associate to join our exemplary staff on the Customer Success team The Client Service Associate will be a self-starter who can take the initiative when responding to customer concerns and issues. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and analytical outlook. The candidate should understand the financial markets, have a desire to pursue a series seven license, and have a customer-focused attitude. Siebert’s experienced customer service team will help to provide guidance and training to ensure that the associate is well equipped for success. Responsibilities will include assisting clients, both in person and on the phone, with a variety of customer service inquiries, processing account forms / documents, and assisting clients with technical support questions and inquiries regarding our offering.

Qualifications and Skills
  • To be considered for this position the candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Experience with MS Office (Comfortable with the daily use of basic Excel and Word).
  • Bachelor’s Degree, experience in Communications or Business preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to clearly communicate intent, plans, statuses, issues and resolutions to relevant internal teams
  • Professional, confident, and positive demeanor.
