The Clinical Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling all incoming Billing and Eligibility phone calls and for serving as the primary customer interface for departmental inquiries.

Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and / or providers. Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

We offer 4 - 5 weeks of training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer problems, OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment, using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
• Prior stable work experience
• Certified EMT OR Paramedic
• Experience with Microsoft Word (create and edit documents), Microsoft Excel (data entry and sorting), and Microsoft Outlook (create and send emails, calendar management)
• Available to work (40 hours / week) anytime within the operating hours
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $16.00 - $26.88. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $16.83 - $29.66.
