Your day.
As a Clinical Engineering Imaging Tech III, you need to know how to:
- Competent to service all levels of imaging equipment up to CT, MR, Linac, Cath Lab, or Mammo.
- Works independently to troubleshoot, repair, provide end-user education, and manage new installs or equipment upgrades.
- Mentors and trains Level I and level II technicians.
- Assists Manager of Clinical Engineering in budgeting for department training, education, and test equipment needs.
- Works closely with the Radiology department leadership to select the best option for new equipment purchase and organizes a service plan for that equipment.
- Performs safety testing, performance testing, and preventive maintenance to meet NFPA, OSHA, and The Joint Commission compliance, primarily on radiology equipment in assigned departments at the scheduled time intervals.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Completion of a two-year approved Biomedical Training Program with an emphasis in radiology or equivalent factory training and experience
- Documented completion of factory training on a variety of basic and complex pieces of imaging equipment.
- Minimum of three years of medical equipment service including demonstrated experience and competency in the repair of basic and complex radiology equipment such as X-Ray, Ultrasound, CR, CT, MRI, Nuc Med, Linac, Cath Lab, Mammography, etc.
