A 300 bed non profit Idaho Medical Center is actively seeking a Manager of Pharmacy to join their growing health care organization.

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy , the Manager Clinical Pharmacy will oversee a 3 Pharmacy Supervisors and a tight-knit team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager will collaborate with clinical staff to answer questions and provide information regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and storage of pharmaceuticals. The Manager Clinical Pharmacy should be a strong communicator with ample inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.

The Manager Clinical Pharmacy will work fastidiously to safeguard order and work persistently to improve processes and adhere to researched best practices and procedures. Th Manager Clinical Pharmacy will participate in Quality Assurance and Drug Use Evaluation programs and complete drug utilization reviews for the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. As coach and mentor to the entire Pharmacy team, the Manager Clinical Pharmacy will promote staff development and conduct employee evaluations to ensure that performance standards are met.

The Manager of Pharmacy is responsible for developing and administering all pharmacy programs, to ensure compliance, accurate distribution of drugs and other pharmaceuticals to patients. The Manager of Pharmacy is responsible for all Clinical Operations of the Pharmacy and also interacts with the Buyers to ensure quality and understanding of issues.
