Salary: Starting salary $53,040 to $57,200 annually.

Job Description:

Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning

  • Provides services with the assistance of a language interpreter for clients with limited English proficiency.
  • Obtains bio-psychosocial history through the client interview, collaterals with family members and other professionals when appropriate and by reviewing available records.
  • Completes thorough Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment (CDA) and corresponding treatment plan within 30 days of admission for individuals referred for services.
  • Participates with colleagues in clinical consultation.

Clinical Interventions

  • Provides individual, family and group therapy with clients accepted for services.
  • Remains current with best practices and industry trends.
  • Provides crisis intervention and conflict resolution assistance to clients and their families as indicated.
  • Conducts risk assessments and helps clients develop safety plans when needed.
  • Adapts treatment methods according to the cultural needs of the client.
  • Provides services with the assistance of a language interpreter for clients with limited English proficiency.
  • Communicates pertinent service plan information to Tidwell staff as needed.
  • Participates in collaborative treatment coordination meetings and trainings as directed by the clinical supervisor or Executive Director.
  • Maintains appropriate professional boundaries.

Client Information System

  • Maintains all required client documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Maintains an awareness of applicable laws, regulations and licensing requirements as they relate to client documentation (please refer to the Resource Manual that includes:
    • Mental Health Law, Medicaid Regulations, Optum Regulations, and Private Insurance Providers).
  • Responsible for providing appropriate documentation of all therapy/counseling sessions, significant collateral contacts, and phone conversations, etc. consistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Assures all needed releases of information and other paperwork are present in the file and up-to-date. Promptly requests new or additional information and paperwork as needed.
  • Completes required documentation to ensure timely billing for services provided.

Team/Supervision Meetings

  • Participates in bi-weekly clinical team meetings with clinical supervisor.
  • Participates in bi-weekly case staffing with clinical supervisor.
  • Participate in peer consultation as needed.
  • Participates in other program service meetings upon request from CBRS/Case Management, Peer Support, or Family Support Service Supervisors, to coordinate services and/or collaborate on shared cases.
  • Attends monthly all staff meetings in order to stay current on agency vision, upcoming community events, conferences, and trainings, as well as participate in discussion forum on new ideas or address problematic concerns.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Must possess a master’s degree in counseling or social work.
  • Must possess an LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC.
  • Must be able to pass an enhanced background check through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience working with the new American population.
