The Regional Manager oversees a team of Clinical Educators who provide point-of-service support and who are the customer facing experts on the patient journey with key healthcare providers and clinics.
The Regional Manager manages and provides on-going coaching to the CEs in order to enhance disease knowledge, assist with patient education and supplemental injection training. The Regional Manager oversees that the CEs have an understanding of the HCP prescribing account and patient support offerings through the client’s patient services.

What will you be doing?
  • Develop 30/60/90-day Regional Launch Plan
  • Manage field operations of Clinical Educators as key point person
  • Conduct and document regular field visits with Clinical Educators
  • Provide on-going coaching and direction to direct reports
  • Take ownership for all region responsibilities
  • Communicate to team, Client field-based leadership and internal Ashfield staff
  • Support Vice President, Nursing Operations, as requested/needed
  • Participate in team meetings and conference calls
  • Prepare and confirm accuracy of all reports, spreadsheets and correspondence prior to distribution
  • Demonstrate sound decision making and judgment
  • Verify and validate project roster for any changes due to launch, realignment, transfers, up/downsizing, etc., as needed
  • Ensure field team has all appropriate equipment and communications support
  • Participate, as requested, in internal meetings to update progress and suggest positive solutions to specific issues and/or opportunities
What do you need for this position?
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field leadership/supervisory management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work related experience (BSN Preferred)
  • Active RN required
  • Experience in identifying, hiring, training and developing talent
  • Experience in Clinical Education and patient teaching environment
  • Patient/provider product use, administration and/or injection training experience a plus
  • Experience in a specified disease state/specialty preferred
  • Must live near a major airport
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned region
  • Rheumatology experience highly preferred.
  • Clinical Educator and/or industry experience.
  • Case management experience.
  • Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for various lengths of time throughout the day
