POSITION SUMMARY
Clinical Sales Representatives are responsible for managing a territory by building/maintaining relationships with medical professionals, education within the field, along with responsibility of collection of any required paperwork to ensure proper payment of services.
In addition to the normal responsibilities of Sales Representative, the Clinical Sales Representative will perform initial set-ups of ventilator patients at hospital/facility discharge in accordance with company policy and protocol. This position has strong accountability to the Clinical Director as it relates to clinical job responsibilities and performance.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT). 3-5 years of relevant healthcare or sales experience preferred.
Must have a valid, state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record. May be required to obtain additional training or licenses or certifications, depending upon job assignments. Position requires acceptable drug screen and background investigation; additional routine or random screening may be performed as deemed necessary by the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources on behalf of HMP
- Educate referral sources of products/services that HMP provides, along with the proper guidelines to have the services covered by the payor source
- Achieve operational, financial, and cultural performance results as defined by the company
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of products and services offered by the company, relevant governmental or regulatory requirements, and accreditation requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; respond to complaints and incidents promptly and report through proper channels in a timely fashion
- Manage relationships with employees, vendors, physicians, and other referral sources.
- Maintain a high level of engagement and satisfaction with vendors, physicians, referral sources, and employees
- Call upon referral sources to build strong relationships and maintain those working relationships with key accounts and to promote the company and its offerings
- Maintain professional, polite, and respectful interactions with employees, patients/customers, referrals sources, vendors; maintain professional appearance with clothing, grooming, and personal hygiene

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to: perform initial ventilator set-ups for discharging patients, participate in on-call RT rotation as assigned, input data into clinical software/applications related to ventilator setups and patient care, assist non-clinical sales representatives at HMP with any in-servicing or education
- Responsible to perform other duties as assigned by management
