Organization: CoreSphere, LLC Location: Washington, DC Type: Full-time, Permanent (W-2) Job Description: Tasks associated with the senior Cybersecurity SME role should include, but are not limited to: • Providing guidance on the techniques, principles and theories pertaining to providing security and protection to IT resources, including knowledge of FISMA, NIST, GSA, and OMB policies, guidelines and procedures involved with the protection of hardware, software and telecommunications equipment and services • Implementing policies and solutions that fall within the Federal Enterprise Security Architecture (EA) framework and effectively integrate program elements such as EA, cybersecurity, and project management • Applying auditing techniques for identifying problems; responding to data calls by gathering and analyzing pertinent information, forming conclusions, developing solutions and implementing plans consistent with the Department’s management goals • Overseeing federal clients’ governance’s policies, such as a policy for boundaries of control for relevant federal applications, and preparing and reviewing specific Authority to Operate (ATO) packages • This role involves leadership and planning to develop and implement a disciplined cybersecurity management strategy that focuses on managing risk, optimizing cost-effectiveness, measuring performance, and ensuring alignment with Customer’s Enterprise Architecture. A key responsibility will be to develop and maintain effective and up-to-date security policy, and be a liaison to project managers to implement cybersecurity governance. Technical Skills & Qualifications  7-10 years’ experience working with best practice cybersecurity control frameworks, including RMF & FedRAMP  Understanding of relevant federal regulations including FISMA and FedRAMP  Foundational knowledge of SA&A practices and procedures for externally hosted applications  Familiarity with federal data classification standards and their associated implications Preferred Skills Requirements: • CISSP, CAP, Security+, or CCSK Certification • Applications: ServiceNow, Salesforce, Amazon, Box • Compliance Tools: CSAM, TAF, Xacta, Archer • Vulnerability Tools: Nessus, WebInspect, DbProtect Professional Requirements:  Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation skills.  Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
