- Minimum 8 week assignment.
- All compliance must be met before candidate can start.
Job Requirements for all candidates:
- Certified Nurse Aide must hold a current permit including a current permit issued under Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 242, Subchapter N, Administration of Medication.
- Experience working in programs for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
Must Have's:
- Must have valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification
- Must have negative PPD results within last 12 months
- COVID-19 testing with negative result required (provided by clinic)
- Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check
- Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (provided by clinic)
Duties may include:
- Routine and emergency care, treatment and training for people with intellectual disabilities
- Duties include grooming, bathing, feeding, observing and reporting individuals' conditions and behaviors
- Meaningful engagement through active treatment and behavioral support programs
- Requires documentation on individual's daily schedule as things occur
- Work in a team environment
- Training will be provided
