Job description

Lorien Health Services is looking to hire full-time, part-time and PRN Nursing Assistant (GNA, CNA) to join our nursing home staff. Do you want a job that offers meaningful work? This position earns a competitive wage of $15 - $18/hour, depending on skills and experience. We also offer excellent benefits, including an Aetna medical package, generous paid time off (PTO),80 hours of vacation time, 40 hours of sick time, 7 paid holidays, 3 personal days, tuition assistance, and competitive compensation. As a nursing assistant, you are the unsung hero of our assisted living facility. You ensure that patients are receiving the highest quality of care and that all of their needs are being met each day that you are at the nursing home. While getting to know each patient, you are learning valuable skills that help you on your journey to becoming a future nurse. You spend most of your shift on your feet, keeping up with the fast-paced environment of our facility and accomplishing any tasks that come your way in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Valid Maryland GNA license in good standing OR a valid CNA license with the commitment to obtain a GNA license
  • CPR certification
  • A commitment to providing patients with the best possible care
