Job Description:

CNAs will provides high-quality daily care to residents. This includes bathing, dressing, feeding, taking and recording vital signs, as well as helping residents with activities of daily living.

Duties Include:

• Maintain good resident hygiene by giving partial baths, bed baths, showers, tub baths, shampooing and styling hair, shaving, and doing oral care and nail care.
• Feed or assist residents in eating by means of spoon feeding or with verbal cues and encouragement.
• Repositioning and exercising residents by means of turning, providing range of motion exercises, and assisting with ambulation according to the as needed and tolerated..
• Answering call lights and addressing residents' need and wants in a timely manner.
• Perform and satisfactorily complete all daily assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintain all assigned residents in good positioning and in clean clothing; groom residents after snacks, meals, and as needed throughout the tour of duty.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a state-approved Basic Nurse Aide Class.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant recognized by the state of Indiana upon hire OR within 120 days of hire.
• Must maintain certification as required by the facility or the state.
• Requires the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 60 pounds frequently

Schedule:

• Part-Time
• Night Shift
• Hourly rate based on experience
• $0.50 additional per hour for second shift.
• $1.00 additional per hour for third shift.
• Weekend shift pay: $1.00 additional per hour
• Weekends and Holidays: Must work a rotating schedule
